Unbelievable!
Here is a day in the life of Lilibeth, Jack and West at 6 months old....
Warm those bottles... and brew strong coffee!
Wake up around 7 a.m. for one of our favorite times of the day... Bottle # 1 of 5!
 |
This girl wakes up grinning and laughing at her Daddy... so sweet.
I am only slightly jealous that he is BY FAR her favorite! |
First, a diaper change...
Finally! It's been a long 12.5 hours!
Making bottles for the day
Playtime with Mama
 |
Sometimes stripping down to a diaper makes everyone happy.
Just a little tacky change 'o pace.
|
Morning walk around the neighborhood
Swing time
 |
This is the goal while Mama and her friends eat lunch.
I would not like to report how often we do not meet expectations in this area. |
Or not
 |
| Sometimes we decide it would be more fun to join mama and her friends at the table while they eat lunch. Jack is eating Sophie the GIraffe... YUM-O! |
 |
Lilibeth loves lunching with the ladies... we're working on preparing for our first visit to the Whistle Stop.
I do not think sitting on the table will be allowed in the tea room! |
Talking until we are sleepy...
Afternoon Na (it would be called a "nap" if we ever finished it... but mama says 30-45 minutes on a good day cannot legally be called a "nap").
 |
| Notice that there is only one baby still asleep at the "end" of naptime! |
Ben making our new food... We are eating apples, bananas, pears, carrots, avocado and rice cereal!
Keeping things under control until....
 |
These babies think "tummy time" is considered optional.
By the time I turn around to get the camera, someone has always rolled over! |
Bottle # 4 of 5
Sometimes, we are still hungry!
Checking out our neighborhood in the afternoon
Playing in our dueling exersaucers
Bathtime
 |
| With the addition of solids to our diet, we are now de-stickifying (bathing) every day |
Evening entertainment
 |
| Don't cry... Look at your new dress! |
 |
Notice all of their faces. Adults very tired, children are super grumpsters...
DO NOT PANIC... we have almost made it! |
Nighttime bottle... with solids!
 |
| Apple and Bananas with rice cereal. West knows that he is advanced and has convinced Fancy that he is fully capable of feeding himself. Just a side note... I have found that if you are short on mortar when bricking a house, apples and bananas mixed with rice cereal will serve as a viable option. |
Sweet babies... Klint and I love watching our babies sleep... and thanking God for six months of parenthood.
Happy "half-birthday" to West, Jack and Lilibeth.
Mama and Daddy love you more than we could ever say!
