Four Months Old... four times as big!

I am going to simply post the pics that speak 1,000 words... look at how big these babies are!  The latest weights are:
Jack - 14 pounds
West - 13 pounds
Lilibeth - 12 pounds

We are still feeding on a three hour schedule during the day so that we can grow and sleep well at night.  How are we doing this?  ...ONLY through the help of the Team Triplet Angel Ladies!  See pics below of the ladies who save my sanity, feed, diaper and love our babies, work around my house and encourage me as a mother.  As I was sitting around the "feeding circle" today with Nancy, Susan and Belinda, I realized how blessed I am to have these wise ladies walk through our door each day.  My babies receive so much love and care, and I am learning from the experts about how to be a mother and a servant.  Unfortunately, I do not have pics of all (among others, Arrica... our 2 AM angel who we NEVER would have made it through the month of December without)... but we will remedy that situation.

Firsts!

Things are changing so fast!
Top five:

5. We are sleeping through the night!  From 8ish to 6ish... with only 5-10 paci replacement trips throughout the night by the parents.  Divide that number by three babies... not too shabby!

4. Lilibeth, Jack and West are smiling and babbling with us.  Yes, with us!  We sound like lunatics repeating what they say to us.  We are the happiest lunatics on the block!  Yesterday Lilibeth and West had their first "conversation."  Lilibeth is so aware of and interested in her brothers.

3. The babies are gaining weight well... not that they ever were not!  I will have to hurry back to work soon to pay our grocery bill.  Cannot even imagine these boys as teenagers!
Tonight's weights before baths: Jack - 12 lbs., 11 oz.; West - 11 lbs., 15 oz.; Lilibeth - 10 lbs., 15 oz.

2.  We are getting lots of help from sweet friends who pretend that I am not totally OCD when I insist that anyone who enters the house has a current flu and DPT shot.  I am in the process of taking pics to post of all of these lovely ladies who help us make it through the day... mostly clean and always well fed.  Am I talking about me or the babies???

1.  WE GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE!  Yesterday we took our our second Sunday afternoon walk.  The front seat is the best, according to Jack.  The back seat reclines, so unless you are wanting a nap, it's the cheap seat for sure!  We all LOVE our triple stroller!

Well, I tried to post videos but have failed several times.  I could figure this out, but going to bed is top priority right now.  Who knows when paci duty will start?

Hoping for a few hours of uninterrupted sleep,

Love this little lady!

Jack... so interested

Occasionally the bottle service is slow around here.  Here is Jack filing a complaint with management.

West relaxing

Lesson #2,322 for Mama... West should wear a bib until about 2.2 seconds before the camera flashes.  Even covered in spit-up, he's one cute kid... especially when he is grinning at us!

Christmas pics, etc... It's going so fast!

In the midst of our 24 hour party, I have neglected to post pics from Christmas.  The good news is the 24 hour party is actually winding down!  I am beginning this post at 6:45 a.m. waiting for the babies to wake up for their first feeding!  I have been washing bottles and burp cloths since they started squeaking at 5:30, but still no takers on the morning bottle.  This feels so strange, but so good!

The babies are fantastic!  We took Jack to the doctor last week for a little cough (he is fine), and he weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces.  West has been and we think still is bigger, so who knows what they weigh now?  They are "talking" to us a little more and enjoying playing.  So fun!

Aunt Linz, Here's what to expect.... the totally unexpected and SO MUCH FUN!

Life rarely slows down

We spend lots of time in this area... feeding every 3 hours

Sweet West

We hold the babies upright for 20 minutes after each feeding to help reduce reflux.  It's a tough job :)

Fun, fun, fun!  Thanks, Nurse Lauren!

Christmas Eve... Our newborn outfits were a little tight on our tummies.   We are big kids now!

Who's Santa's Little Helper?  Me, that's who!
